it was amazing how the PSI index had shot up to above 100 just about 3 days ago.
And just how much i miss the clear sky and fresh air i used to enjoy while walking to school every morning(the drive that keeps me going on). Now, all that is left is the dirty atomsphere which cause my eyes to itch every now and then.
i hate waking up to all these dirty and unsightly surroindings, it just turns me off straight away.
Worst of all, what have we done? Well, simply nothing and we get to "enjoy" the "genting look alike" weather and surounding, not to freshen up our respiratory system but to cause detrimental effects to them.
if there was an analogy to this, i would strongly advocate that the above situation was a large scale of the smokers and non-smokers sitution. The smokers, the burning done by you know who...in order to (you know what) The non-smokers, the poor us suffering due to theses burning, who simply did nothing but tried to protect our health and due to these smokers, all our efforts has been squandered.
And need not any explanations, the haze flew to us are just like the second hand smoke. Now, isnt this clearer? like the smokers, if you guy dont treasure your health, the burner, then so be it. But we the non smokers who value our health hope that you guys ( be it the burners or smokers) would actually spare a thought for us (be it the non smokers and the poor haze sufferers). Please be responsible with what you do and not do something that is at the expense of someone else's life. i seriously don get how smokers or buners can do away with their conscience in mind and realse those toxic into the environment knowing that it would have detrimental effects to the people or country around them. Do they care?
Lets talk about smoking.
Seriously, those who want to start smoking, please just totally drop that idea
its for the good of yourself, your family, your friends and your society.
and for those able to do away without it,
you being able to abstain from smoke is a great deal of contribution to your society
ultimately, one less smoker is enough to equate to a better health and environment for everyone already
and i find that those who have dropped their smoking habits for the greater society are to be well respected and good role models to the other smokers.
Back to haze; its raining now and i see this rain as my government efforts to pressure the burners to stop. i sincerely hope that this catalyst would not be defunct. i think we deserve a better environment than this.
if the rain got to be longer, it's okay, as long as it brings the haze away.
pollution has no political boundaries.
